PAG Holiday Show
Every year the Portsmouth Arts Guild hosts a Holiday Show to celebrate the season. It's a wonderful time for all of our members to gather together and possibly do a bit of holiday shopping. This year we are excited to change things up a bit. We have decided this year's Holiday Show will be our version of a "Little Picture Show". The subject matter for your submissions is open, but the requirements for size, price, and number of submissions are different for this exhibit. Please be sure to carefully review exhibit requirements and guidelines before submitting your artwork. Holiday Show Requirements
We look forward to seeing you at the opening reception and celebrating "the most wonderful time of the year"!
All entries are accepted. We are an all inclusive art community. We accept and display all submissions that meet our guidelines and requirements. This Holiday Show will also allow entered artists to optionally replace sold pieces for free. All artists will be notified upon selling their artwork and given instructions on how to replace sold artwork with new pieces.
Nostalgia
The Portsmouth Arts Guild invites you to enter our Nostalgia Exhibit.
Is it a memory, a dream or a reminiscence? Did it come upon you with a sound a smell or a photo? Do you feel it when you hold something, see something, or recall a time gone by? From tail fins to bell bottoms, China cups to steam engines or remembrances that only exist in your mind, we invite you to explore “Nostalgia” in your favorite medium.
All entries are accepted. This will be a juried show with submissions juried for prizes only! First prize will be awarded $100, second price $75, and third prize $50. There will also be 2 honorable mention certificates and a people's choice award. The jurors for this exhibit will be Bill Lane and Sam Allerton Green.
The Great Outdoors
Celebrate “The Great Outdoors”, juried for awards by artist Mark Fernandez.
The Portsmouth Arts Guild invites you to enter your art exploring subjects and concepts relating to the world outside. It could be depictions of grand beaches and marshes, or small tadpoles in a pond at your local park. The only requirement is that it’s about the natural life that surrounds us.
Reconnect with nature. Highlight all that the outdoors has to offer from landscapes to urban oases to activities inspired by the natural world. All mediums welcome. All entries accepted and displayed. Juried for prizes only.

PAG Quilters and Fiber Arts Show
Every year the Portsmouth Arts Guild and the Prudence Island Quilters Guild collaborate and honor quilters and textile artists.
ll fiber artists are invited to join with the Prudence Island Quilters and enter your art created from fiber
including recycled and repurposed mixed media fiber art. All submissions must include a fiber material or
textile technique.
We are limiting entries to 1 per person and only the first 10 entries will be accepted due to space limitations.

An Ocean State of Mind
The Portsmouth Arts Guild invites you to enter our "An Ocean State of Mind" Exhibit.
An "ocean state of mind" is to be inspired by our oceans and seas. What do you see when inspired by the ocean? Is it calm and peaceful or wild and turbulent? Do you envision the water itself or do you dream of the rugged coastlines or sandy beaches? Maybe you are drawn to the sea life swimming below or the boats sailing above. An "ocean state of mind" provides limitless opportunities for creativity. Feel free to interpret this theme in you own creative way! All entries will be accepted and displayed.

Artworks are not insured by PAG. Artists should maintain their own insurance while work is on Guild premises. Although we take the utmost care of all works submitted, PAG is not responsible for any damage incurred after drop-off. All packing material must be taken away by the artist upon drop off. PAG retains the right to reproduce images of your work for publicity for the exhibition.
