Bay Area Artists are invited to submit work to our August show that goes beyond rigid depictions of reality and explores the abstract. Artists are invited to submit works that emphasize the use of color, shape, gesture, texture, or form to express different ways of seeing.

Bay Area Artists are invited to enter this show about water. What comes to mind when we think of water? Do you think about tears or sweat expelled from the body or dewdrops on a petal? Do you envision swimmers in a pool, glittering schools of fish or an unseen viewer gazing at a seascape. Maybe your thoughts turn to sizzling deserts or our obligation to keep our rivers and oceans clean. Artists are asked to submit work that references water or the lack of it.
