he Guild invites artists to submit work for a juried exhibition, Journeys and Destinations—an exploration of movement, passage, arrival, and the places (real or imagined) that shape us. We welcome thoughtful, compelling interpretations in all media and encourage artists to share work that reflects both the road traveled and the moment of arrival.

Prizes Awarded at Opening Reception!
First Place – $100
Second Place – $75
Third Place -$50
Honorable Mention works will also be acknowledged. All prize recipients and their entries will recognized on our website gallery and highlighted through our social media channels.
All entries are accepted. We are an all inclusive art community. We accept and display all submissions that meet our guidelines and requirements.
Every year the Portsmouth Arts Guild hosts a Holiday Show to celebrate the season. It's a wonderful time for all of our members to gather together and possibly do a bit of holiday shopping. This year we are excited to change things up a bit. We have decided this year's Holiday Show will be our version of a "Little Picture Show". The subject matter for your submissions is open, but the requirements for size, price, and number of submissions are different for this exhibit. Please be sure to carefully review exhibit requirements and guidelines before submitting your artwork. Holiday Show Requirements

This Holiday Show will also allow entered artists to optionally replace sold pieces for free. All artists will be notified upon selling their artwork and given instructions on how to replace sold artwork with new pieces.
