Bay Area Artists are invited to enter this show about water. What comes to mind when we think of water? Do you think about tears or sweat expelled from the body or dewdrops on a petal? Do you envision swimmers in a pool, glittering schools of fish or an unseen viewer gazing at a seascape. Maybe your thoughts turn to sizzling deserts or our obligation to keep our rivers and oceans clean. Artists are asked to submit work that references water or the lack of it. All 2D and 3D media, and all artistic styles are welcome, [except video]
Artists need to obtain copyright approval to use images in their artworks that have not been originally created by them.
Juror: Catherine Wang McMahon, fine artist and AIR specialist at Recology
